Risk Manager - Wealth Management, Broker Commission
About the team

Join our Distribution Governance team and help support a leading financial services organisation’s third-party distribution network. We make sure broker commissions are delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with regulatory and governance requirements, while strengthening broker relationships and supporting the growth of the retail banking business.

The role

You’ll lead the day-to-day broker commissions operation, setting priorities, monitoring delivery and resolving or escalating issues in a timely manner. You’ll oversee end-to-end commission payments and reporting, making sure service levels, quality standards and control requirements are met.

Using operational and payment data, you’ll identify trends, address root causes and manage emerging risks. You’ll drive improvements focused on simplification, automation and scalability, partnering with business, product and technology teams from discovery through to implementation. You’ll also be a key contact for broker and aggregator enquiries,



and maintain the commissions documentation framework so procedures and training materials stay accurate and current.

What you’ll bring
Experience in financial services operations, payments, commissions or another regulated environment
Robust SQL or data analytics skillset is required
Solid operational delivery skills, with attention to detail and a practical risk and controls mindset
Experience supporting process, system or control improvements, including requirements, testing or implementation
An analytical, curious approach, using data to identify risks and drive improvements
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with broker commissions, lending products or third-party distribution is valued
