The Role:

The Senior Project Engineer role will be responsible for the technical matters associated with the design, construction and delivery of construction works. This role will ensure best for project outcomes are achieved by collaborating with the Project Team. It will also manage all HSEQ, technical, commercial, leadership, team development and stakeholder interests

Responsibilities:
Lead and promote the development of a positive safety culture across the Project
Implement GMR's and actively promote compliance
Maintain focus on the critical path and ensure that non-critical activities are progressed so as not to become critical
Monitor field production progress against budget quantities and budget cost and develop the forecasting of final cost for each cost code assigned as a responsibility
Ensure the construction team adopts proactive management of community and environmental issues and effective liaison with external stakeholders
Cascade knowledge of systems and processes, set the benchmark of what is expected and train/coach/mentor junior members of the team

About You:
Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management,



or a related field with substantial experience (typically 8+ years) in construction on large infrastructure projects
Proven track record in managing complex construction and engineering works, preferably within tunnel, road, or rail infrastructure environments
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to provide creative, practical engineering solutions under pressure
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities, with a team-oriented mindset
Commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability in all aspects of work
Experience mentoring and developing junior engineers and working effectively within a multidisciplinary alliance team workplace
