We're Hiring: Security Engineer – Red Team / Purple Team

Location: Brisbane

We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer with solid Red Team and Purple Team expertise to simulate real-world cyberattacks, validate security controls, and strengthen threat detection across cloud, infrastructure, and endpoint environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct adversary emulation and offensive security engagements.
Build and maintain red team infrastructure and Breach and Attack Simulation (BAS) capabilities.
Validate security controls, detection mechanisms, and logging to identify and close security gaps.
Use AI and automation for attack-path analysis and risk prioritisation.
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve security controls and remediation.
Map attack techniques to the MITRE ATT&CK; framework.
Hands-on experience in red teaming, exploitation, C2, and attack-path analysis.
Robust knowledge of cloud, infrastructure, and endpoint security.
Experience with detection engineering, logging, BAS, and MITRE ATT&CK.;
Proficiency in Python and security automation.
Understanding of security testing rules of engagement.
