The Real Estate team advises major Australian clients on a broad range of commercial property matters, with particular expertise in leasing, property development and acquisitions and disposals. The practice works across the retail, industrial and mixed-use sectors, acting for leading institutional investors, developers, landlords and property operators.

The Role

An excellent opportunity exists for a Lawyer or Associate (2–4 PQE) to join a highly regarded Real Estate practice in Melbourne.

Working closely with experienced Partners and a team-oriented team, you will:
Advise on a broad range of commercial property matters, with a particular focus on retail and commercial leasing.
Act for major institutional investors, developers, landlords and property operators.
Draft,



review and negotiate commercial leasing agreements and related property documentation.
Work directly with clients, providing practical and commercially focused advice throughout transactions.

About you

Ideally, you will have 2–4 years' post-admission experience gained within a well-regarded property practice.

Additionally, you will have:
Solid experience in commercial property matters, particularly retail and commercial leasing.
Excellent drafting skills and strong attention to detail.
A sound understanding of property transactions and the broader commercial real estate market.
Robust client relationship management and communication skills.
