About the Role

As a Mechanical Fitter, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving critical plant equipment while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, installation and overhaul of fixed plant equipment including pumps, compressors, conveyors, gearboxes,



valves and hydraulic systems
Execute preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance activities
Complete shutdown and turnaround maintenance safely and efficiently
Assist with plant upgrades, modifications and new equipment installations
Work within refinery and industrial process settings including high-risk areas
Maintain strict compliance with site safety and quality procedures

To Be Successful You Will Have
Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification
Current Driver’s Licence
Valid Working at Heights certification (within 2 years)
Valid Confined Space certification (within 2 years)
Construction Induction Card (White or Blue Card)
Ability to pass pre-employment and site medical testing

Local candidates are preferred; however, accommodation may be available for suitable applicants.

Rigging and/or Forklift tickets
Previous South32 Worsley Refinery experience
