Omni Recruit is working with a Newtown wing restaurant serving crispy wings and loaded sides to one of Sydney's most loyal crowds. We're after an Assistant Kitchen Manager who can lead the line, mentor the team and help run a tight, profitable kitchen.

What you'll be doing
Backing the Head Chef day to day, and leading the kitchen when they're off
Keeping every plate consistent and every service smooth
Managing ordering, stocktakes, suppliers, wastage and food cost
Building rosters and keeping labour on budget
Owning food safety, cleaning, WHS and compliance
Recruiting,



training and growing a solid kitchen crew
Finding smarter ways to work

What you'll bring
Experience as a sous chef, kitchen supervisor or junior kitchen manager in a busy venue
Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent experience)
NSW Food Safety Supervisor certificate
Solid understanding of food cost, ordering and rostering
A positive leader who builds a team people want to work in
Full Australian work rights
