AGED Steakhouse is looking for an experienced and passionate Grill Chef to join our kitchen team on a part-time or casual basis.

We are seeking someone who takes pride in preparing premium steaks, understands cooking temperatures, and can consistently deliver high-quality dishes in a rapid-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook premium steaks to customers' preferred temperatures.
Operate and manage the grill section efficiently.
Maintain consistent food quality, presentation and portion control.
Ensure proper meat handling, storage and food safety standards.
Manage preparation and stock levels for the grill section.
Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe workstation.

Requirements




Previous experience as a Grill Chef or Chef in a steakhouse or busy restaurant.
Strong knowledge of steak cuts, cooking temperatures and grilling techniques.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy services.
Excellent attention to detail and consistency.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Availability to work evenings and weekends.
Knowledge of Australian food safety and hygiene standards.

Pay: $27.97 – $44.18 per hour
