We are seeking an easygoing, confident and nonjudgmental Support Worker to support a young adult with daily living, community participation and building independence.
About the role:
Support daily routines and develop independent living skills.
Assist with community access and social connections.
Encourage goals relating to employment and communication.
Follow individual support plans and Positive Behaviour Support strategies.
About you:
Experience supporting people with intellectual disability and complex support needs.
A calm, patient approach and an understanding of trauma-informed support.
Solid communication skills and the ability to build trust.
Reliable, respectful and committed to person-centred care.
No overnight support required.
Pay: $34.00 – $40.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
