Omni Recruit is working with a Parramatta wing restaurant running one of Church Street's busiest kitchens, serving 14 house-made wing flavours, tenders and loaded sides to a packed house. We need an Assistant Kitchen Manager to back the Head Chef, lead the team and keep the numbers in check.

What you'll be doing
Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen, and leading it when they're off
Driving consistency, speed and quality across every service
Managing ordering, stocktakes, supplier relationships, wastage and food cost
Building rosters and keeping labour on budget
Owning food safety, cleaning schedules, WHS and compliance records




Recruiting, training and developing cooks and kitchen hands
Bringing ideas to improve systems and efficiency

What you'll bring
Experience as a sous chef, kitchen supervisor or junior kitchen manager in a high-volume venue
Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent experience)
NSW Food Safety Supervisor certificate
Solid understanding of food cost, ordering and rostering
Robust leadership that keeps a team calm and focused under pressure
Full Australian work rights
