Cook / Sandwich Artist — Baking Experience

SATHU’s Deli | North Adelaide

SATHU’s Deli serves Italian–Asian inspired sandwiches, toasties, salads and specialty coffee. We’re looking for an experienced cook or sandwich maker with baking experience to join our team.

About the role
Prepare sandwiches, fillings, sauces and baked products.
Follow recipes, instructions and portion sizes accurately.
Keep the kitchen clean and organised.
Follow FIFO (first in, first out) procedures for correct stock rotation.
Maintain food safety standards, including temperature checks and secure food storage.

About you
Previous café or commercial kitchen experience, including baking.
Good knife skills to prepare ingredients safely and consistently.




A robust understanding of food safety and cleanliness.
Familiarity with dietary requirements, including vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free.
An understanding of food allergies and how to prevent cross-contamination.
Reliable, attentive to detail and able to work well in a busy team.

Daytime café hours.
