About the role

We're looking for an experienced Stonemason to join our team in Yatala, Queensland. You'll cut, shape and install natural stone for residential and commercial projects. This is a full time role.

What you'll do
Study plans, drawings and specifications to determine required materials, dimensions and installation procedures
Cut, shape and polish hard and soft stone blocks and masonry slabs using machines and hand tools
Fabricate and prepare stone components for benchtops, paving, cladding and architectural applications
Install stone products in office, including checking vertical and horizontal alignment
Construct walls and structures using stone slabs and large masonry blocks
Repair and maintain stone structures as required




Keep your work area clean and safe in line with WHS requirements

About you
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Stonemason, or an AQF Certificate III in Stonemasonry (or equivalent)
Proven experience working with natural stone such as marble, granite and travertine
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Proficiency with stone-cutting machinery and hand tools
Robust attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
White Card (Construction Induction) preferred
