About the role
As the Warehouse 2IC, you'll work closely with the Team Leader to coordinate daily operations, support production schedules, and help lead a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
From managing workflow and customer priorities to supporting team performance and continuous improvement initiatives, you'll be a trusted second-in-charge who leads by example.
This role is Afternoon shift
2pm – 10pm
What you'll be doing:
Supporting day-to-day warehouse and production operations
Assisting with planning, scheduling and prioritising work
Coaching and supporting team members across shifts
Monitoring productivity, service levels and operational KPIs
Communicating with internal stakeholders to ensure customer expectations are met
Promoting a strong culture of safety, teamwork and continuous improvement
Stepping in to support leadership responsibilities when the Team Leader is away
We're looking for someone who has:
Strong people leadership, with experience engaging and uplifting a small team
Experience in warehousing, logistics, operations or supply chain environments
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
A customer-first mindset and ability to manage competing priorities
General computer literacy and experience using systems such as Microsoft Excel and warehouse management platforms
Great communication skills and a team-oriented approach
A genuine commitment to safety and team success
