Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) in Queensland is recruiting for a Legal Officer to expertly prepare prosecution matters referred to the ODPP for prosecution.
The role involves advocacy in the District and Magistrates Courts, handling appeals, bail applications, and committal proceedings, with liaison to police, defence counsel, victims, and witnesses.
Successful candidates will mentor legal support staff and contribute to continuous practice improvements across ODPP regions.
