The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has updated the qualifications for paraprofessionals to included the 20-hour online substitute training program beginning in the ********* school year.
Individials with one of the following qualifications are now eligible to be an instructional paraprofessional:
60+ college hours




Associates degree or higher
Missouri ParaPro Assessment passing score (before September 23, ****)
Missouri Paraprofessional Assessment passing score (after September 23, ****)
Completed Missouri's 20-hour online substitute training program
