We have a fantastic opportunity in our Brisbane International Air Cargo team that is offered on a permanent, full-time basis.
Working on a rotating roster, this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work schedule and prefers flexibility over a traditional Monday to Friday routine.
The Role
Your average day will involve:
Load, unload, screen and pack air cargo safely and efficiently
Operate airside vehicles in accordance with safety procedures
Coordinate the movement of freight throughout the cargo terminal
Process freight documentation and complete system updates accurately
Maintain compliance with workplace health, safety and aviation security requirements
Conduct equipment checks and assist with general warehouse housekeeping
It is preferable for candidates to hold a forklift licence to perform forklift operations, however we will also consider candidates who do not hold a licence and are willing to upskill.
Working Hours:
AIRWAY operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Following your training period, you will work on a rotating roster 4 days per week.
Note shift times may start as early as 4:00am.

About You
We're looking for reliable, safety-focused team players who enjoy working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous warehouse, logistics, freight handling or aviation experience (highly regarded but not essential)
Current Driver's Licence without restrictions and own reliable transport
Current ASIC (or ability to obtain)
Valuable communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude
Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and overtime when required
Current LF Forklift Licence preferred
This role involves regular manual handling, including lifting, carrying and moving heavy items.
Candidates must be able to safely perform the inherent physical requirements of the position.
Employment will be subject to successful completion of a pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screen and police check.
