Parkdale Aged Care is a warm and welcoming home in Melbourne's southeast, operated by the family-owned Medical & Aged Care Group.

We have exciting opportunities for both Permanent Part-Time and Casual Food Service Assistants to join our team.
These roles are perfect for someone who is confident, proactive and takes pride in getting the job done to a high standard.
You will play a key role in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring residents receive quality meals in a safe and welcoming environment.
Permanent part-time candidates will be offered consistent, set shift patterns.




Casual candidates will be engaged flexibly to support the team as needed.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with meal preparation and food plating
Serve meals and beverages to residents
Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen and dining environment
Follow food safety and infection control procedures
Work collaboratively with kitchen and care staff
About You
Confident, reliable and able to work efficiently
Strong work ethic with a "get it done" attitude
Team player with a positive approach
Good communication and time management skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications & Experience
Food Safety Certificate (required)
Experience in hospitality or aged care - 1+ year preferred
Understanding of hygiene and food safety practices (required)
Requirements
Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
