Come work with us!
Seasonal, Temporary, On-Call, Weather Dependent – Can lead to full-time, year-round employment
Take control of your winter season, operating heavy equipment where your precision, independence, and strong work ethic are truly valued.
In winter operations, most contractors just plow snow.
At Ainger Group of Companies we protect people, property, and peace of mind—the plowing is simply how we deliver that certainty.
We are seeking dependable Tractor and Equipment Operators to execute protected, efficient snow and ice removal across residential and commercial properties throughout the winter season.
This role is ideal for an experienced operator who thrives when working independently, stays calm and focused during unpredictable storm shifts, and takes personal pride in doing the job right the first time.
Operating in the middle of a blizzard requires a steady mindset, sharp spatial awareness, and a commitment to high standards.
If you prefer managing equipment and mastering a route rather than sitting in an office, this position offers the autonomy, clear expectations, and fast-paced winter environment you are looking for.
What You Will Love About This Role
You will take complete ownership of your assigned route and heavy machinery, operating independently while delivering dependable winter service to our communities.
Direct responsibility over high-performance tractors and snow-blowing/plowing attachments.
Clear, objective performance expectations focused on quality execution and safety.
Independent work environment with minimal direct supervision once on your route.
Support from a responsive dispatch team and dedicated maintenance resources.
Pride in keeping local roadways, driveways, and commercial sites safe during major winter storms.
Your day-to-day work involves reviewing your route, completing pre-trip machinery inspections,

operating heavy equipment through assigned properties, and ensuring every site is clear and safe before the morning commute.
The Kind of Person Who Excels Here
Thrives on independent work and takes pride in exceptional operational quality.
Demonstrates strong mechanical awareness to handle minor field maintenance like greasing and changing shear pins.
Maintains steady focus, situational awareness, and high accuracy during long overnight shifts.
Respects safety guidelines, equipment procedures, and property boundaries.
Brings a strong work ethic and 24/7 reliability throughout the winter weather season.
