Job Description Data Architect Purpose: promote up-to-date data engineering practice and assure the resilience and sustainability of data heavy deliverables.

Reports to: Technical Program Lead, working with the Data function.
Responsibilities • Design target data models and map them from ADABAS and Informix sources.
• Define data governance, lineage, quality and classification controls with ASIC data custodians.
• Design migration, coexistence and system of record rules.
• Support the Data Governance and Quality project and ASIC's data strategy.
Essential: data architecture for large legacy data migrations to modern platforms; data governance in government.
Desirable: Databricks; ADABAS data structures (periodic groups, multiple value fields); privacy by design.
