An exciting opportunity is available to join an established furniture retailer in Prospect, with a growing customer base and strong store performance.
Our client is seeking a motivated Retail Sales Consultant who brings personality, initiative and a genuine interest in delivering a great customer experience.
The Opportunity Working within a supportive team, you'll help customers navigate their purchasing decisions, recommend suitable products and deliver a personalised shopping experience.
This is a consultative sales environment where building relationships and understanding customer needs are more key than traditional hard-selling techniques.
Key Responsibilities Welcome customers and build genuine rapport.
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable furniture solutions.
Drive individual sales and contribute to overall store performance.
Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to closing the sale.
Promote additional products and protection plans where appropriate.
Maintain excellent product knowledge and stay up to date with new ranges.
Assist with general store presentation and daily operations.




Work independently when required and collaboratively as part of a small team.
About You Previous retail sales experience, ideally within furniture, homewares or bulky goods.
A confident personality with strong communication skills.
Comfortable engaging with customers and building relationships.
A modern, consultative approach to selling.
Motivated by achieving sales targets and earning commission.
Able to work independently and take initiative.
Open to learning new products, systems and sales processes.
