About the business Core Talent is partnering with an established automotive business to recruit a Finance Manager.
Part of a global group, the business offers a range of vehicles to the Australian market, combining value, technology and safety.
This opportunity would suit an experienced Senior Accountant looking to step into a Finance Manager position, or an established Finance Manager who enjoys remaining hands-on.
About the role Working closely with the local accounts and finance team, you will support accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls and informed commercial decisions.
You will also collaborate with three colleagues in India through a matrix reporting structure.
The position initially has no direct reports, with the potential for two team members to report into the role in the future.
Key responsibilities Coordinate month-end close, financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare management reports and provide commentary on business performance.
Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
Maintain financial controls and support Australian statutory and tax compliance.




Work with local and overseas colleagues to meet reporting deadlines.
Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Provide practical financial insights to support operational stakeholders.
About you CA or CPA qualified, with experience as a Senior Accountant or Finance Manager.
Strong technical accounting skills and a hands-on approach.
Experience delivering month-end reporting, budgets and forecasts.
Confident communicating with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Comfortable collaborating across international teams and matrix reporting structures.
Robust Excel skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
Automotive, distribution or other inventory-based industry experience would be advantageous.
What's on offer $120,000 base salary plus superannuation.
An additional 10% performance-related bonus.
