Job Description We are seeking a talented and passionate Full-Time Cook to join our culinary team in Wetherill Park, Australia.
As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, and contributing to an efficient and positive work environment.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and customer orders Ensure all food items are properly stored, labeled, and rotated to maintain freshness Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, adhering to all health and safety regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels of ingredients and supplies Operate and maintain kitchen equipment,



reporting any issues promptly Adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge Provide excellent customer service by addressing special requests and dietary concerns Qualifications Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role, preferably in a corporate or institutional dining setting Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and recipe execution Comprehensive understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask Solid communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with kitchen teams Proficiency in basic math for portion control and inventory management Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools Knowledge of dietary requirements and ability to accommodate special dietary needs Preferred: Food safety certification or culinary training Preferred: Experience with large-scale meal preparation for corporate or institutional settings Preferred: Experience with inventory management systems
