About the role TasNetworks is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of the North West Transmission Developments (NWTD) — one of Tasmania's most significant infrastructure programs.
In this role, you will safeguard the owner's commercial position through accurate measurement, valuation, forecasting and disciplined contract administration across a major state infrastructure project.
Working within the Contract Team, you will contribute to robust commercial governance, timely processing of change, and high‐quality reporting that supports confident decision‐making and protects TasNetworks' financial interests.
What you'll do Cost forecasting — Assist with detailed cost forecasts, cash flow projections and cost‐to‐complete estimates.




Contract administration — Support the day‐to‐day administration of contract agreements in line with contract terms and project procedures.
Commercial risk insight — Identify cost risks, trends and opportunities, providing timely advice to the Contract Director.
Register management — Maintain contract and change registers, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
Contractual communications — Prepare notices, instructions, variations and clarifications with precision and compliance.
