McLennan St Dental is seeking a full‐time Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team in Mooroopna, Victoria. As a valued member of our dental practice, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and providing exceptional patient care.
What you'll be doing
Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments, mixing materials, and maintaining a clean and organised work area
Sterilising and maintaining dental equipment and instruments according to infection control protocols
Greeting and welcoming patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience
Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring all necessary materials and supplies are ready for each patient
Providing patients with post‐treatment instructions and answering any questions they may have
Maintaining accurate and up‐to‐date patient records and documentation
Undertaking administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and handling patient enquiries
What we're looking for
Completion of a recognised Dental Assisting qualification or equivalent experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour




Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi‐task in a fast‐paced environment
Proficiency in using dental equipment and software, with a willingness to learn recent technologies
A team‐oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively with the dental team
Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient safety
