You'll play a key role in the Registry Connect initiative, driving engineering excellence across application development, integration, security, automation, and platform modernisation within a large-scale enterprise environment.
Your new role
As an Engineering Lead, you will provide hands-on technical leadership across multiple technology workstreams, ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions.
You will establish engineering standards and best practices while mentoring development teams to improve quality, resilience, automation, and maintainability.Key responsibilities include:
Defining engineering standards for design, coding, testing, CI/CD, security, and observability.
Leading engineering reviews and quality assurance activities.
Coaching and mentoring engineers to uplift delivery capability and engineering maturity.
Driving improvements in automation, resilience, maintainability, and operational excellence.
Supporting project delivery across API development, IAM, registry transactions, legacy modernisation, cyber security, and decommissioning initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed




Proven experience in hands-on engineering leadership roles.
Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability, and secure SDLC practices.
Experience across cloud, application, and integration engineering environments.
Ability to drive engineering quality, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Active Baseline Security Clearance.
Highly desirable:
Azure DevOps experience.
AWS or Azure serverless technologies.
.NET and/or Java development background.
Experience with OutSystems, Boomi, or Dynamics platforms.
Exposure to strangler pattern architecture and domain decomposition strategies.
