Our Parent Pathways contract assists parents with young children to identify their goals and facilitate activities that help them achieve success in their personal and professional lives.
This role provides practical support, problem-solving and guides/coaches a caseload to enable participants to achieve their personal and professional goals.
Based in Belconnen.
Duties
Mentor and support parents in individual sessions
Run events locally to attract participants
Assess participants needs and identify activities to support goals
Lead group sessions in the community
Connect participants with community resources and support networks to overcome challenges
Maintain accurate case management records
What are we looking for?
Lived experience (as a parent, carer, foster parent, grandparent etc)
Cert III in a relevant field (community services, mental health, employment services) or willingness to work towards one
A current driver's licence, required to travel within the Capital region and outlying areas - Work vehicle supplied
Ability to problem solve and break larger targets into smaller, achievable steps
