We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in a varied and hands-on role.This is a fantastic opportunity for an accounting professional who is ready to build their career in a well-established and fast-paced organisation, gaining exposure to financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance, and month-end processes across multiple entities.Working closely with an experienced team and reporting to the Group Finance Manager, you will play an important role in supporting financial operations and contributing to accurate and timely reporting. This full time position is based in our Brisbane CBD office and requires regular in office attendance.What You’ll Be DoingPlay a key role in preparing monthly management accounts across the Group’s portfolio of entitiesPrepare journals, manage prepayments, and assist with fixed asset administrationManage group bank reconciliations, proactively investigating and resolving discrepanciesAssist with the preparation and submission of BAS statementsContribute to month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, budgets, and forecastsProvide support with statutory accounts, audit requests, and Fringe Benefits Tax processesWork closely with the Accounting team to respond to internal finance queries and support broader team goalsWhat We’re Looking ForEssential:Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related disciplineAt least 2 years’ experience in a related accounting roleKnowledge of GST and BAS obligationsExperience in a structured finance environment with exposure to compliance and regulatory requirementsStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookExcellent attention to detail,
