About The Wine Vine Hotel

SRIGOURI PTY LTD - The Wine Vine Hotel is located in Tanunda, in regional South Australia, in the beautiful Barossa Valley, one of Australia's most recognised wine and tourism destinations.

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced and motivated Hotel Manager to oversee the overall operations of our hotel. The successful applicant will lead daily operations, manage staff, maintain accommodation standards and deliver excellent guest experiences while ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of the business.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Plan, organise and coordinate all hotel operations.
- Manage accommodation services, reception and front office activities.
- Oversee reservations, room allocations, check-ins and check-outs.
- Recruit, supervise, train and manage hotel employees.
- Coordinate housekeeping activities and maintain room cleanliness standards.
- Monitor occupancy, room revenue and operational performance.
- Manage online travel agency platforms and reservation systems.
- Develop pricing strategies and manage accommodation rates.
- Respond to customer feedback and resolve guest complaints.
- Arrange property maintenance and ensure facilities are properly maintained.
- Manage purchasing, stock control and operational expenditure.
- Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate business records.




- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and business performance.
- Oversee online travel agency (OTA) channels, including ***********, Expedia and other accommodation booking platforms.
- Manage room rates, pricing strategies and seasonal promotions across all distribution channels.
- Monitor channel performance and resolve inventory or connectivity discrepancies.

Skills and Requirements

- Qualifications in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or a related discipline are desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in hotel or motel operations.
- Strong staff management and leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of accommodation reservation and property management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple operational responsibilities.
- Positive financial management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and make operational decisions.

A relevant qualification in hospitality management or business management, together with relevant industry experience, will be highly regarded.

Remuneration

Annual salary of AUD $80,000 – $85,000 plus superannuation, depending on the successful applicant's qualifications, relevant experience and skills.
