An exciting opportunity is available for an Associate Dentist to join an established and growing dental practice in Canberra.

The practice is seeking a motivated and experienced clinician who enjoys delivering high-quality dentistry, developing long-term patient relationships and managing treatment plans with confidence.This is a full-time opportunity, with flexibility around working arrangements to be discussed.

Based in Bruce, Canberra, the practice offers a modern, purpose-built setting with contemporary equipment and technology to support quality clinical outcomes.

The chance

Joining an experienced and welcoming team, you will have access to an established patient base and the clinical facilities needed to deliver comprehensive dental care.

Your role will involve:

- Providing a broad range of general dentistry services.
- Carrying out comprehensive dental examinations and consultations.
- Developing treatment plans for patients with varying clinical needs.
- Delivering restorative and more complex dental procedures.
- Undertaking surgical extractions and other general dental treatments.
- Building strong relationships with patients through personalised care.
- Supporting patients with preventative dentistry and ongoing oral health.
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative practice environment.

What we're looking for:

To be successful in this position, you will ideally have:

- A minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience in general dentistry.-
- Confidence in providing comprehensive general dental care.
- Experience managing restorative and more complex treatment cases.
- Competency in surgical extractions.
- Strong diagnostic, clinical and treatment-planning skills.
- Excellent communication and patient management abilities.
- A professional, ethical and patient-centred approach.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
- Unrestricted APHRA registration.
- Current professional indemnity insurance (or able to obtain).
- Valid UK dental license with eligibility for Australian registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and associated working visas (with support from the client).
