CELOTTI WORKFORCE is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Planning Support Officer for our client within the mining industry in the Northern Territory.

This role will provide planning and coordination support to the Electrical team, with a focus on developing scopes of work for improvement and shutdown projects, assisting with shutdown scheduling and coordinating electrical contractors on site.

Working closely with the Electrical Planner, Shutdown Scheduler and Electrical Superintendent, you will play an important role in ensuring electrical works are properly scoped, planned and delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with site requirements and procurement standards.

This is a varied role suited to someone with an electrical or instrumentation maintenance background who enjoys coordinating contractors, supporting maintenance planning and maintaining strong safety and documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop clear and detailed scopes of work for electrical improvement and shutdown projects.
- Identify required tasks, resources and constraints ahead of shutdown planning and execution.
- Assist with shutdown schedule development and planning alongside the Electrical Planner and Shutdown Scheduler.
- Coordinate electrical contractors and subcontractors undertaking non-routine works on site.
- Organise contractor scheduling, site access and induction requirements.
- Act as the site representative when contractors arrive, ensuring work is appropriately inducted, briefed and supervised.




- Monitor contractor progress and ensure work is delivered in accordance with agreed scopes, quality requirements and procurement standards.
- Develop, review and maintain Safe Work Instructions (SWIs) for electrical maintenance and project activities.
- Maintain accurate work order information, maintenance history and asset data using SAP.
- Participate in pre-start meetings, toolbox communications and field safety activities.
- Identify hazards, report incidents and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Our Ideal Candidate:

- Electrical trade qualification (Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician) or demonstrated equivalent industry experience in electrical/instrumentation maintenance or contractor coordination.
- Demonstrated experience developing scopes of work for improvement or shutdown projects.
- Previous experience coordinating contractors within an industrial or mining environment.
- Understanding of shutdown planning and scheduling processes.
- Experience developing and maintaining Safe Work Instructions (SWIs) or similar safety documentation.
- Robust understanding of procurement standards and contractor management processes.
- Working knowledge of electrical and/or instrumentation systems.





Essential:

- SAP experience, including work order management, maintenance history and asset data.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple scopes and stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound understanding of safety systems, risk management and relevant legislative requirements.

Desirable:

- Current Northern Territory Electrical Licence.
- Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control.
- Qualifications in Project Management.
