We are looking for an experienced Engineering Surveyor to join our Survey team based at our Beresfield office. Reporting to the Survey Manager, you will support a diverse portfolio of civil construction projects across the Hunter Region, including major transport infrastructure, subdivisions and civil structures. You will work directly with project teams, using modern survey technology to help deliver safe, accurate and high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

Key responsibilities

- Deliver accurate survey setout services to civil construction project teams

- Complete conformance and work-as-executed surveys, reports, sketches and supporting documentation

- Calculate and provide end-of-month quantities for project reporting

- Review project designs and prepare reliable data for field setout and machine guidance

- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors and delivery teams to resolve survey and design issues

- Maintain survey records and contribute actively to safety, quality assurance and continuous improvement

About you





- A relevant tertiary qualification in surveying or a related discipline

- Experience as an Engineering Surveyor on civil construction projects

- The ability to work collaboratively with project teams, meet key milestones and deliver accurate outcomes

- Sound judgement, confident decision-making and a practical approach to problem-solving

- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety, quality and qualified standards

- Clear communication skills and the ability to manage competing site priorities
- Working knowledge of 12d Model survey software is desirable
