The exciting opportunity

- Join the lifestyle team at our 129-bed Lake Cathie aged care home
- Part-time role working Tuesday - Friday from 10am to 6pm with the potential to pick up extra shifts on Monday
- Deliver activity programs that cater to residents’ needs and preferences
- Accompany residents on outings enabling them to take part in social events
- Support residents with mobility, nutrition and hydration management, and meaningful activities that promote wellbeing
- Complete comprehensive progress notes that accurately reflect residents’ care
- Build strong, respectful relationships with residents, families, and staff

About you

- Experience as a Lifestyle Officer in residential aged care or a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
- Passionate about providing engaging and interesting activities for the elderly
- Enthusiastic, compassionate, excellent communication skills, and able to build strong rapport with residents
- A valid driver’s licence and unlimited working rights in Australia (sponsorship will not be offered)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and flu vaccination, or willingness to obtain
