THE FIRM AND OPPORTUNITY

Law Staff has been engaged by the Board of an established and growing national partnership with offices across Australia’s major centres and international affiliations.
Known for its client focus, inclusive culture and employee benefits, the firm combines the resources of a national practice with a team-oriented approach to practice management. Partner earnings are highly competitive among prominent CBD firms.

You will work alongside two established Commercial Property and Real Estate Partners, joining a busy team with existing work available to support your transition. The appointment forms part of the firm’s broader growth and succession strategy over the next five years.

ABOUT YOU

You will be an established Partner seeking a stronger platform for your practice, or an accomplished Special Counsel ready to step into partnership.

You will bring a genuine enthusiasm for commercial property law, sound commercial judgement and a reputation for technically excellent, responsive advice. A loyal client following with the potential to transition will be important, complemented by internal referrals from the team’s existing workflow.

Your practice mix may vary,



although experience across at least three of the following areas would be ideal:

- Acquisitions and disposals of commercial property, including transactions involving private equity holdings and real estate investment trusts.
- Property development, including industrial parks, shopping centres and residential towers.
- Asset transfers associated with resources and utilities infrastructure.
- Negotiation and drafting of ancillary commercial agreements.
- General commercial property matters.

You will lead and develop client relationships, contribute to the team’s growth and supervise lawyers in delivering high-quality service.

Indicative earnings start at $450,000 for Salaried Partners, with Equity Partner earnings extending well beyond $1.2 million.
