Perks People Solutions is partnering with our client, an established organisation within the manufacturing industry, to recruit an experienced Payroll & Accounts Receivable Officer to join their finance team.

This is a varied position offering the opportunity to take ownership across both payroll and accounts receivable, while supporting the broader finance function. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for payroll processing, invoicing, reconciliations, and end-of-month activities.

The Role

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Processing weekly payroll and providing payroll support across multiple states
- Reconciling payroll tax, PAYG, WorkCover levy and child support
- Managing sales invoicing and end-of-month invoicing
- Completing daily banking transactions and bank reconciliations
- Following up outstanding sales orders and accounts
- Managing credit control activities
- Preparing accounts receivable reports for senior management
- Supporting end-of-month transaction reporting and month-end close
- Assisting Project Managers with general project administration
- Providing general finance and administrative support as required





About You

To be successful in this position, you will ideally have:

- Strong payroll processing and reconciliation experience
- Previous exposure to invoicing, banking and credit control
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Confidence managing competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across different areas of a business
- A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to assist the broader team
