Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Casual Educator to join our team. This role is essential for providing high-quality educational support and fostering a positive learning environment for children. The Casual Educator will play a crucial part in delivering engaging interactions and assisting in the overall development of learners, ensuring that educational standards are met and maintained.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the planning and preparation of educational materials and resources.
- Maintain active supervision of children at all times.
- Uphold Child Safe Standards and maintain a zero-tolerance approach to harm.
- Support children in their learning and development, providing guidance and encouragement.
- Assist in setting up safe, engaging and developmentally appropriate environments.
- Support a positive, respectful team culture.
- Be flexible in rostering, changes and adjustments needed from day to day




- Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning environment.
- Maintain a protected and inclusive environment, promoting positive behaviour.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Qualifications:

- Significant experience in an educational setting, preferably as an educator or teaching assistant.
- Relevant qualifications in education or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and staff.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current National Child Safety Training
- Current First Aid Training
