Purchasing Supervisor Based Eastern Suburbs | Immediate Start | Initial 3-Month Contract with Potential ExtensionAn excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Purchasing Supervisor to join a busy procurement and supply team supporting a large operational business. This role is commencing immediately to cover long service leave, with strong potential for the position to continue beyond the initial three-month period.Reporting to the procurement leadership team, you will oversee a small team of purchasing professionals while ensuring the timely and efficient procurement of goods and services across the business.Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor and support a small purchasing team
- Manage daily purchasing activities and workflows
- Ensure purchasing processes comply with company policies and procedures
- Support supplier engagement, negotiations and issue resolution
- Monitor purchasing performance, priorities and delivery outcomes
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to meet operational requirements
- Assist with contract and supply agreement administration

About You
- Previous experience supervising or leading a procurement or purchasing team
- Strong purchasing,



procurement or supply chain background
- Working knowledge of supply agreements and contracts
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- ERP system experience and solid computer skills
- Available to commence immediately or at very short notice
