About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced VMware Cloud Foundation Administrator to support a large-scale enterprise cloud and data centre transformation program within the Australian telecommunications sector.

The role will focus on the administration, operation, troubleshooting and optimisation of VMware Cloud Foundation and associated virtualisation infrastructure within a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and support VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments.
- Manage VMware infrastructure and virtualisation platforms.
- Support day-to-day cloud platform and data centre operations.
- Monitor platform health, availability and performance.
- Troubleshoot VMware infrastructure and platform issues.
- Perform performance analysis and optimisation activities.




- Support platform maintenance, configuration and operational activities.
- Work closely with infrastructure, cloud and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
- Produce and maintain appropriate technical and operational documentation.
- Contribute to broader cloud and data centre transformation activities.

Required Skills & Experience

- Demonstrated VMware Cloud Foundation administration experience.
- Strong VMware infrastructure and virtualisation expertise.
- Experience supporting enterprise data centre and cloud platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
- Experience with performance monitoring and optimisation.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Previous exposure to major technology or infrastructure transformation programs.
- Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

Location & Contract

- Sydney based only
- 6–12 month contract
