Hogs Breath Cafe in the heart of Airlie Beach is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Cook to join our busy kitchen team. This is a excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, fun hospitality environment in one of Australia’s top tourist destinations.

About the Role

As a Cook, you will support the kitchen team in preparing high-quality meals while maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items in line with Hogs Breath Cafe standards
- Assist with food preparation, portioning and plating
- Ensure consistency, quality and presentation of all dishes
- Follow recipes, menus and instructions from senior chefs
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, work areas and equipment
- Monitor food stock levels and report shortages or wastage
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries correctly
- Follow all food safety, hygiene and WHS requirements
- Work efficiently during busy service periods




- Support team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations

What We’re Looking For

- Experience working as a Cook in a busy restaurant or café
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual and well-organised
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays
