3 Positions Available | Sydney | Major Construction Projects

An opportunity has arisen for three experienced SQE Supervisors / Safety Advisors to join a highly regarded national construction company with a strong pipeline of secured projects across Sydney.

With an established reputation for delivering complex commercial, healthcare and residential developments, the business offers the opportunity to work on significant projects alongside experienced delivery teams.

The positions will be based across three major projects in Sydney, including:

- Aged Care, Greenwich – $300M: A major integrated healthcare and seniors living development incorporating a 10-storey clinical facility, specialist aged care accommodation, independent living apartments and community facilities.
- Fairfield: Major construction project.
- Levande: Seniors living development.

The Position

Working closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager and supported by an experienced State SQE Manager, you will play an integral role in maintaining high standards of safety, quality and environmental compliance throughout project delivery.

The role offers a high level of autonomy, so you will need to be confident managing your own workload, prioritising competing demands and taking ownership of safety requirements on site.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor site safety, quality and environmental management systems.
- Identify and manage site hazards, risks and compliance requirements.
- Review subcontractor SWMS, safety documentation and work practices.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, inductions and toolbox talks.
- Support incident investigations,



reporting and corrective actions.
- Work collaboratively with site management and subcontractors to promote a positive safety culture.

About You

- Minimum 5 years' experience in a safety-focused role within commercial construction or a similar high-risk setting.
- Must have experience across environment and quality not just safety
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or a relevant qualification.
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation, construction safety standards and compliance requirements.
- Experience working on large-scale commercial, healthcare, residential or mixed-use developments.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with site teams and subcontractors.
- Comfortable using construction safety management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
