Maxima are on the hunt for an experienced Public Amenities Labourer for a casual position working in a Local Council position. This role will see you working on a rotating roster that includes Monday to Friday 5am - 2pm and weekends 4am - 1pm. We currently have 2 positions available, 1 in Margate and 1 in Narangba.

The key purpose of this role is to carry out public amenities cleaning to assist in achieving an efficient mobile service for the cleaning and sanitising of public amenities, servicing of bins and removal of litter in and around
Council toilets and other facilities. Offering $34.96 per hour + super as well as penalty rates on weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

- Undertake cleansing duties associated with Council's public amenities as directed by the supervisor
in a secure, effective and timely manner




- Maintain and safely operate amenities cleaning vehicles
- Ensure safe use of chemicals and cleansing equipment, and correctly use and maintain equipment
provided, including all personal protective equipment
- Complete administrative documents to support amenities cleaning and waste collection activities
associated with the role

About You:

- Current driver's license
- White Card
- Must have current vaccinations for tetanus, Hep A and Hep B
- Current national police clearance or willing to obtain
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent time management and self-motivation skills
