Regional Security Manager - Defence
LEAD SECURITY OPERATIONS ACROSS WA'S DEPARTMENT OF DEFENCE ESTATE

Wilson Security is seeking an experienced operational leader to oversee security services across the Department of Defence portfolio in Western Australia.

This is an chance to lead a large, geographically dispersed workforce supporting some of Australia's most critical Defence facilities. Working closely with Defence stakeholders, operational leaders and support teams, you'll drive performance, develop people, strengthen client relationships and contribute to the ongoing success of a nationally significant security contract.

Reporting to the National Defence Operations Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in ensuring the safe, reliable and professional delivery of services across metropolitan and regional locations throughout Western Australia.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Lead security operations across multiple Defence locations throughout WA.
* Provide leadership, coaching and support to Area Managers, Supervisors and operational leaders.
* Build trusted relationships with Defence representatives and key stakeholders.
* Drive operational performance, workforce effectiveness and service improvements.
* Support incident management, compliance and service continuity activities.
* Monitor trends, risks and opportunities through reporting and operational reviews.
* Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability and professionalism.
* Travel across the region to maintain visibility and engagement with site teams.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You are an experienced leader who can balance operational priorities,



people leadership and client expectations in a complex environment.

You will bring:
* Experience leading multi-site operations and geographically dispersed teams.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and client relationship management skills.
* Experience managing operational performance within a 24/7 service environment.
* The ability to analyse information, solve problems and make sound decisions.
* Strong communication, leadership and people development capability.
* A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach.

Experience in security, Defence, facilities management, emergency services, government services or other complex operational environments will be highly regarded.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
* Australian Citizenship.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 2 (NV2) Security Clearance.
* Ability to meet Department of Defence access and probity requirements.
* Current driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout Western Australia.
