Our client is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our client's team. About the Position As a Dental Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting dentists with day-to-day clinical procedures while ensuring patients feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their appointments.

Working alongside experienced dental professionals, you will gain exposure to a range of general and preventative dentistry procedures, with opportunities to expand your knowledge and clinical skills.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Providing chairside assistance to dentists during dental procedures.
- Assisting with general dentistry treatments, including examinations, fillings, crowns, extractions and preventative care.
- Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms, instruments and dental equipment.
- Ensuring strict infection control and sterilisation protocols are followed.
- Supporting patients throughout their dental appointments and delivering excellent customer service.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and assisting with administrative duties when required.
- Working collaboratively with dentists, hygienists and other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Requirements




- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is highly regarded.
- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A friendly, caring and professional approach to patient care.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of infection control procedures and dental sterilisation practices.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn.
