We're building something exciting in Brisbane and looking for an enthusiastic Hospitality Trainer & Assessor to join our team.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and passionate Hospitality Trainer & Assessor to join our Brisbane team in a full-time position, delivering SIT30622 Certificate III in Hospitality.

You'll play an important role in helping students develop the practical skills, confidence and industry knowledge they need to succeed in hospitality.

Our training focuses on real-world hospitality skills, particularly front-of-house operations, food and beverage service, customer service and café operations.

We're looking for someone who brings energy and enthusiasm to the classroom, enjoys working with students from diverse backgrounds and takes pride in seeing learners succeed.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging, practical face-to-face training aligned with SIT30622 Certificate III in Hospitality.

- Conduct competency-based assessments across theory and practical components.





- Provide students with constructive feedback, guidance and ongoing support.

- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.

- Maintain accurate student records, assessment documentation and training progress reports.

- Ensure training and assessment practices meet relevant RTO compliance requirements.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of training resources and delivery.

- Where possible, use industry connections to help students identify employment opportunities.

About You

You're an experienced hospitality qualified who enjoys sharing your knowledge and helping others develop their skills.

You'll have a strong practical understanding of hospitality operations and the ability to make learning engaging, relevant and enjoyable.

Essential Requirements

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116 or another credential recognised under the applicable requirements).

- Relevant hospitality qualifications or demonstrated vocational competencies appropriate to the training and assessment being delivered.

- Strong hands-on hospitality industry experience, ideally in front-of-house operations,



food and beverage service or café operations.

- Current hospitality industry skills and knowledge.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

- The ability to work independently and contribute positively to a small, supportive team.

- A genuine passion for teaching and helping students succeed.

Highly Regarded

- Previous experience delivering SIT30622 Certificate III in Hospitality or similar qualifications.

- Experience working within a Registered Training Organisation.

- Existing relationships with Brisbane hospitality venues or industry networks.

- Experience supporting students into hospitality employment.
