Positions available:

1. APPRENTICE locksmith(s)

- 1st year junior apprentice wage is between $45k - $65k and up from there year on year

- Looking for a career in the ever expanding security industry?

- 4 year trade based apprenticeship

- 3 years block visits at Sydney Ultimo TAFE (Mon > Thurs approx. 7 separate weeks in a year)

- TAFE travel cost assistance packages provided

- Existing 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th year apprentices welcome to apply

- Earn $$ while you learn on the on-call roster. Between $15k > $45k EXTRA annually for a 1 in 9 roster

- Become a Nationally Recognised Cert 3 Qualified Locksmith on completion

We are looking for:

- Apprentice locksmith(s)





- Someone with good hand skills on the tools, can think their way through problems and has a can do attitude

- Trustworthy, reliable and punctual

- Good character with great communication skills

- No criminal history or connections (police check required)

- Is keen to develop new skill sets and enjoys self-improvement

About the role:

- Residential, commercial, government lock fitting

- After hours emergency lockouts

- CCTV, access control, alarms and intercoms installations

- Safe sales/cracking/relocations

- Restricted master key systems

- Construction projects

- Automotive keys, repairs and ECU programming

- Workshop manufacturing, engineering and fabrication

- Interstate security projects

Skills and experience

- Driver’s licence required

- White card, asbestos card and security industry licence are required (paid for by the company)

- Any existing security clearances would be an advantage (not essential)

- Experience in CCTV, alarms or access control an advantage (not essential)

- Someone with good hand skills on the tools, can think their way through problems and has a can do attitude
