About the Role

JSF Maintenance are seeking experienced MC Road Train Drivers for immediate start at an established Middlemount based coal mine site. Operating a Road Ranger (non-synchromesh) gearbox fleet, you will be responsible for the protected and efficient haulage of coal utilising double side tipper configurations.

This is a stable, site-based role offering an excellent roster, competitive hourly rates, and full camp facilities.

What’s on Offer:

- Excellent Pay: $60.00 – $70.00 per hour + Super.

- Great Roster: 7 days on, 7 days off (day and night shifts).

- Travel Covered: Bus transport provided to and from camp out of Mackay or Rockhampton.

- Full Camp Facilities: Clean, private, modern accommodation and all meals provided while on site.

- Uniforms: Full company uniform and appropriate PPE supplied.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safe operation of MC Double Road Train configurations on mine haul roads and site networks.

- Confident management of a Road Ranger (non-synchromesh) manual gearbox.





- Conducting efficient loading and tipping operations using side tipper trailers.

- Performing mandatory daily pre-start vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance faults.

- Upholding the highest standards of on-site safety and environmental compliance.

What You Need to Apply:

- Current, unrestricted MC (Multi-Combination) Licence (essential for Road Ranger operation).

- Proven, hands-on experience driving Road Ranger gearboxes in heavy vehicle combinations.

- Demonstrated experience with side tippers, ideally within a mining or heavy earthmoving environment.

- Ability to pass a Coal Board Medical and pre-employment drug & alcohol screening.

- A clean driving history and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
