The Opportunity

You'll join our Brisbane-based Controls Engineering team, working alongside experienced engineers to develop, program and commission the intelligent systems at the heart of our technology.

This is a hands-on role combining software, engineering and practical problem-solving.

You'll be involved in:

- Developing and programming automation systems, including BMS, DDC and PLC technologies.

- Supporting the design of innovative control strategies for Fusion's HVAC systems.

- Working with system integration and intelligent building technologies.

- Participating in on-site testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.

- Collaborating with our engineering and service teams to deliver practical solutions.

About You

We're looking for someone who is curious, motivated and genuinely interested in how things work.

Ideally, you'll have:

- A recently completed degree in Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or be nearing completion.

- An interest in programming, automation and control systems.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- A willingness to learn, ask questions and challenge yourself.

- Valuable communication skills and a collaborative attitude.

Exposure to PLC programming, BMS, Niagara, BACnet or Modbus through university projects or previous experience would be an advantage, but isn't essential.

We're more interested in your potential, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
