A rare opportunity has come up in our Finance Department, we are seeking a highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant / Accounts All Rounder to join the team at our Arundel office. In this newly created role you will assist the financial controller on a variety of tasks for the larger group and be responsible for the bookkeeping of a smaller group of entities.

This role is being offered as a full time position, however part time basis will be considered for the right applicant.

Key responsibilities

- Provide day to day support to the Finance Department, working closely with the Financial Controller on a variety of tasks for the lager group as required

- Bookkeeping duties for a small group of entities

- Inter-company transactions and reconciliations

- Assist in month-end processing, including journals and adjustments

- Assist with General Ledger Maintenance and Reconciliations

- Assist with preparation of Activity Statements

- Assist with preparation of FBT returns

- Assist with treasury management

- AR Maintenance

- Ad hoc duties and reporting as required

Requirements

- One year plus experience in a similar role





- Degree or working towards in Accounting, Business or Finance or equivalent relevant experience

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

- Inter-company accounting exposure will be an advantage

- Intermediate Microsoft office skills, with a strong emphasis on Excel

- Experience working with NetSuite or an ERP software desirable
