Civil Labourers / MR & HR Truck Drivers - Geebung

$46.19 per hour + penalties | Monday to Friday | Ongoing work

Zoom Recruitment is seeking experienced Civil Labourers with an MR or HR licence to join a civil infrastructure team based in Geebung, working on projects across greater Brisbane.

This hands-on role combines civil labouring with driving work trucks to and from site. You'll assist with the installation and maintenance of water, stormwater, sewer and drainage infrastructure, including fire hydrants.

What's on Offer

- $46.19 per hour, inclusive of meal and travel allowances, plus penalties
- $20 weekly phone allowance
- Ongoing work with immediate starts available
- Monday to Friday day shifts, starting at 6:30am and generally finishing between 4:00pm and 5:00pm
- Overtime paid at time and a half for the first two hours, then double time
- Paid induction before commencing on site
- Optional opportunities for occasional night shifts or work away, depending on project requirements

About the Role

You'll meet at the Geebung workshop each day before travelling to site in a work truck. Your duties will include:

- Driving MR or HR work trucks to and from project sites




- Assisting experienced pipe layers with civil infrastructure works
- Supporting the installation of stormwater, sewer, drainage, pits and hydrants
- Assisting plant operators with installation and maintenance activities
- Completing general labouring and site preparation duties
- Maintaining a clean, organised and secure work area

What You'll Need

- A current MR or HR truck licence and confidence driving work trucks
- Construction White Card
- Previous civil labouring experience
- Reliable transport to the Geebung workshop
- Availability for ongoing Monday to Friday work
- Ability to safely undertake physical labouring duties
- Ability to pass a pre-employment functional assessment and drug and alcohol screening

Experience with stormwater, sewer, drainage, pits or watermain projects is highly regarded, but experienced civil labourers without pipe laying experience are also encouraged to apply.
