MPS Concierge / People Services Assistant

We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused MPS Concierge / People Services Assistant to join our team at a university in Armidale.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people and providing welcoming, reliable onsite support. The role is offered on a casual basis with full-time hours. The current contract runs until April 2027, with the possibility of extension depending on operational requirements.

Full training will be provided, so previous experience in a similar role is not essential. You will need to be able to drive to the university site.

The Role

You will provide onsite concierge and people services support, helping staff and visitors with day-to-day requests and ensuring a positive experience at the university.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and assist staff, students and visitors in a friendly and professional manner

- Respond to enquiries and direct people to the appropriate services or contacts





- Provide day-to-day onsite support in line with client requirements and procedures

- Assist with print and related services as required

- Help keep shared areas and service points organised and presentable

- Communicate with the wider EPS team to resolve enquiries and escalate issues

- Complete basic administration and reporting

- Provide reliable support across the site and adapt to changing priorities

About You

- Friendly, approachable and confident communicating with a range of people

- Strong customer service and communication skills

- Reliable, organised and attentive to detail

- Able to work independently and follow procedures

- Comfortable learning new systems and tasks

- Flexible and willing to help where needed

- Previous customer service, concierge or print room experience is an advantage, but not essential

Essential Requirements

- Ability to drive to the university site in Armidale

- Australian citizenship, permanent residency or unrestricted working rights in Australia

- Current Police Check, or willingness to obtain one

- Availability to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday
