TFCivil Pty Ltd is seeking reliable and hardworking Stormwater Drainage Labourers to join our experienced civil construction teams across Sydney and the South Coast of NSW.

We are a family-owned and operated civil construction company with over 50 years of experience specialising in stormwater drainage and civil infrastructure works.

With ongoing projects and a strong pipeline of work, we are looking for motivated individuals who are willing to work hard, learn new skills and become valued members of our drainage teams.

Current Work Locations

We have active projects across multiple locations, including:

- Sydney: Austral, Homebush and surrounding areas.

- South Coast NSW: Wollongong, Illawarra and surrounding areas.

We are recruiting labourers for both regions, with opportunities for consistent, ongoing work.

About the Role

The successful candidates will work alongside experienced pipelayers and excavator operators on major stormwater drainage and civil infrastructure projects.

Daily duties will include:

- Assisting with the installation of stormwater pipes ranging from 375mm to 2100mm in diameter.

- Assisting pipelayers with pipe laying, jointing and alignment.

- Preparing pipe bedding and backfilling trenches.

- Assisting with the construction and installation of stormwater pits and associated structures.

- Working alongside excavators and other heavy machinery.

- General labouring duties associated with civil construction and roadworks.

- Using hand tools, power tools and construction equipment.

- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

- Following site safety procedures and directions from supervisors.

What We're Looking For





- Previous experience in civil construction, stormwater drainage or pipe laying is highly regarded.

- A current White Card (Construction Induction Card) is essential.

- Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual labour.

- Strong work ethic, reliability and a willingness to learn.

- Ability to work safely around excavators and heavy machinery.

- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

- Current driver's licence and reliable transport preferred.

- Experience using construction tools and equipment is advantageous.

Applicants with stormwater drainage experience will be highly regarded; however, we are also willing to consider motivated labourers with general civil construction experience who are keen to develop their skills.
