Factory Manager – Duratank

Duratank builds tough poly rainwater tanks for the Territory, made right here in Yarrawonga, Darwin. We’re looking for a hands-on Factory Manager to take full ownership of our factory, lead a small, tight crew and make every tank that leaves the yard one we’re proud of.

No remote sites. No FIFO. Modern machinery, an enclosed shed, and a role where your decisions actually count.

Who we are

Duratank is a Territory poly tank manufacturer based in Yarrawonga. Our tanks are built for Territory conditions, and we take pride in every one we make. We’re a practical, down-to-earth business that values attitude and contribution over titles.

The role

This is your factory to run. You’ll own the day-to-day operations, from production and quality through to stock and the team. Our crew is small, so you’ll lead from the floor: on the tools alongside your team and setting the standard by example. The planning and office side forms part of the job as needed.

Outside the factory, you’ll also represent Duratank at a few shows each year. It’s a great chance to meet customers and see the product in the hands of the people who use it.

What you’ll be doing

- Running daily factory operations and owning the output

- Getting hands-on in manufacturing and production with your crew

- Leading the team and keeping the workflow moving

- Hitting production targets without compromising quality

- Managing stock and ordering materials so the floor never stops

- Quality checking finished products before they leave the yard

- Solving problems on the spot and making the call on the ground





- Finding better ways to do things and driving improvements

- Representing Duratank at a few shows each year

What you’ll bring

- 3 to 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing or factory workplace

- Leadership or supervisory experience

- Happy to be hands-on. With a small crew, you’ll be on the tools as well as leading.

- A strong work ethic and a practical, get-it-done mindset

- Confidence to make decisions on the ground and own them

- Reliability. When you say it’ll be done, it’s done.

- A positive attitude that lifts the team around you

Bonus points for

- Forklift licence

- Crane licence

- Poly welding experience
